At "Maldives in still mode" I found passion and dedication. Mohammed Abdulla Shafeeg's love and caring for the Maldivian people and country stand out in his photography and his writings.
The man has a busy schedule I must say. He works as a journalist at a local weekly magazine where he writes and does the layout and graphics work. He is a member of Velidhoo Youth Development Society (VYDS). His work is on Flickr, JPGmagazine and Blogger.
His photography is splendid. He does not lack courage and he does get around. A photo he took of the Police assaulting Anni has appeared on BBB Online.
There is also some poetry in his blog.
On the downside I found that his feedosphere link did not work. Maybe it is my weak Dhiraagu connection. I also think that things are somewhat cluttered. If he could cut down on posting photos without text on the Blogger and mover them to Flickr would be an improvement.

A Traumatised Girl Who is Sick and Tired of Having To Hover Around the Seat To Have A Decent Piss

I just read all the posting at just laughter. This is the second time this blogger is going at it. So far most of it is just the average blogging going on at the blogosphere.
Just laughter is peppered with some of the common themes - "this fear of people finding out who I really am through my writings, part of me wants them to know, the other part is too damn shy to let anyone know".
I found the most of the postings fairly ordinary like the childhood memories and the rant about the piss scattered loo and elephant poo. Loneliness runs through a few postings like "confession" and the latest "facing the truth". The latter is longer than the others and deals with confronting her husbands killer.
If that is fiction there is hope for some good postings on this blog. If that is true, my sincere condolences and prayers.

Bodybuilder keeps attacking girls for wearing bikini

Ahmed Vishah exemplifies a type of young Maldivian full of contradictions and tied up in psychological knots. He seems to be fluent in computer scripts n stuff and has one blog "Gold Flake Linux". The other blog "I am Your Eye" reveals more of his character. Some of it is not nice. Among his favorite books are Three Little Pigs, Cidruella, Ruppenzel, Archie comics and A Christemes Caroil. He enjoys the western pop/hippie culture of rock music and comic strip characters. Then he attacks Maldivian girls for wearing bikinis.
He listens to Beatles, Guns N' Roses, Queen, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple.But the music dont get thru to him - he does not know what it means to live and let live.
On his blog he signs his name as Halku. The name seems to be a twist on the famous fictional superhero of Marvel comics known as The Incredible Hulk. Or it could be the professional wrestler Terrence "Terry" Gene Bollea better known by as Hulk Hogan. These connections are possible. Friends have told me that Halku is a bodybuilder. In his blog he says he likes "gymin".
In his posting Commentory on western biches he trashes some Maldivian girls for wearing the bikini. He descends into very obscene and revolting language in describing them. His attention to the physical features of these girls is disgusting and reveals an unhealthy obsession with body shapes. He has been at it before. Something about girls in bikinis drive him nuts.

His activity is indicative of a belief in the superiority of men over women.
Is he demanding a certain dress code for all Maldivian women?

Is he a male chauvinist?
Is he a misogynist ?
n. One who hates women. adj. Of or characterized by a hatred of women.
Is he a mixture or worse?

In the description of his blog it says "don't know if it is day or night". These are famous lines from the Jimi Hendrix song " Purple Haze" celebrating the drug LSD popularly known in the hippie culture as "Acid".
Large and frequent doses of this stuff has been proven to impair and destroy mental faculties.
Halku is in a state where he "don't know if it is a pig or dog".
Halku, don't go tear your shirt off because I wrote this. Just go slow on the acid n steroid cocktail consumption. The combination can be lethal..

The posting "Mariyam Nisha broke my heart " gave me recurring dreams of Ismail Wajeehs dance moves for months.
In "Theory of underwater Endheri growing on Villa in the sky", DS performs neurosurgery and exposes cancer. The latest "Orgy at Islamic Centre" is another Seven Star Posting. Maldivian politics has never been described as good as this.
